Aquajoy takes its responsibillities towards the planet very seriously and are always looking for ways to protect our environment. From using and supplying equipment that simply uses less electricity to run then comparitive products to disposal of consumable products such as uv tubes and filter media to plant waste and general waste. Aquajoy are proactive in finding viable solutions for waste disposal and recycling along with environmentally sound methods of working.
Bulb recycling
All our bulbs and U.V lamps are sent to Enlightend lamp recycling ltd find them at www.elr-ltd.com/ who dispose and recycle bulbs.
Plant waste
All plant waste is composted. Where appropriate.
Invasive aquatic plants can damage our ponds, waterways and the environment.
Be plant wise and don't dump aquatic plants in the wild.

General waste
Any waste that Aquajoy are unable to recycle themselves is sent to D+E Roberts who are a reponsible waste management company who recycle up to a massive 85% of waste they receive. Have a look at www.deroberts.co.uk
